• During this program, you will reflect on who you are and how to join in God’s dream for a better world. You will discern, plan, and execute a project to make a difference in some realm of your life. You will learn about empathy, collaboration, the design thinking method, and sustaining spiritual practices. At the end of the Fellowship, you will be prepared to keep living as a Changemaker, equipped with tools that are useful in all aspects of life. You will also have developed relationships with other passionate, supportive Changemakers.

  • People come to this program for a variety of reasons. Some want to discover more about themselves and how to use their experiences & strengths for good. Some desire to go deeper in their faith. Some just want to change something in their community that seems broken. This program can be transformative to people who have never quite found their home in church, as well as people ready for a next stage in their discipleship. We believe God uses ordinary people willing to say “Yes!”

  • As a Fellow, you will participate in 6 virtual workshops on Saturdays (3 hours each), as well as monthly small group mentoring and coaching sessions. You will be part of a cohort of other Fellows from all over the country.

  • The virtual workshops are on Saturday mornings, from 9am-noon (Pacific Time). In addition there will be monthly small group coaching sessions, timing to be determined. The average time commitment will be around 6 hours per month (including workshops, mentoring/coaching, and individual spiritual and project time). The time varies by month.

  • Tuition is due prior to the first session. For those needing financial assistance, both full and partial scholarships are available.

  • Fellow projects are widely diverse. Some involve workplaces, others involve neighborhoods or communities. Some are one-time events, others go on to become nonprofits. There is no expectation for the size or duration of your project. Some past project ideas have addressed environmental stewardship, parenting skills, rare disease education, support for single dads, and empowering young girls. The goal is to put your faith in action, to learn through the course of doing a project, and to realize you can be a compassion-driven Changemaker like Jesus.

  • No, it is not necessary to have a project idea. We take time for discovery and discernment during the program. Some Fellows come in with an idea and that is fine, but just hold it loosely as they almost always change!

  • Changemaking is a form of social entrepreneurship. Fellows use the principles of creative problem solving and teamwork to find solutions to their project’s funding needs. Many projects can be undertaken with little to no funds. Other Fellows find small grants or partnerships to accomplish their funding needs.
